I bought this because my 2yr old kept saying his back hurt when in his carseat and he really did need more padding. I searched the internet in vain to find a cushion that'd work for a decent price. I came across this and bought 2. They don't work all that great for 'cooling' but it's good for stuffing up under the existing padding. I doubled them up.One other note for parents: The material is scratchy. I started out just putting it on top of the existing seat but my little guy has sensitive skin and he broke out in a rash on the backs of his legs where they were in contact with the material. Then I stuffed it under the pads.My 5 mo old was getting really sweaty in his car seat so trying to find something that worked. Have a Britax Chaperone and bought Britax infant head and body insert, but that was bulky and did not work well. This is thin and skinny enough that it does not interfere with the car seat built in safety features. Would be nice if it was able to stick to the car seat somehow, always having to move it back up, but honestly a very minor issue. I didn't see that it came n other colds - would have gotten red to match car seat, although lime green is very bright and sporty. Strap covers not as thick as the one come with Britax so didn't use because did not think as safe. Before buying the liner our baby would scream everywhere we went in her carseat, due to over-heating. Once we got this, it was like a switch, no more screaming. We got it over the winter and are entering summer soon, so it will be interesting to see if it continues to keep her cool over extreme heat. One dislike, it doesn't fasten down. So it can wiggle free as you place your child in & out of the seat. Definitely not a deal breaker! This product was well worth the money! Fit our Graco Snugride seat perfectly. This seat liner does work well and wicking sweat, and the material is comfortable against the skin. The issue I have with it, is that it really is too small for my 18-month-old. To get the head padding behind her head, I have to pull the whole pad up, and then it doesn't fit well between the car seat straps. If the head portion were twice as tall as it is, it would probably line up correctly. It's unfortunate the head portion doesn't line up well, since that's the part of my daughter that gets most sweaty. We live in Florida where there are basically 2 seasons: hot and hotter! We tried turning the car and A/C on before putting the baby's carseat in, but let's be honest - who has time to do that EVERY time you have to go anywhere? And with 90-degree heat, our poor baby girl would sweat like a little construction worker in her carseat. So I found this liner on Amazon, checked out the reviews and decided to get it after seeing the customer pics (big thanks to the parent who posted those!). It's not a miracle cure-all, our little girl still sweats, but not nearly as much; it definitely does keep her cooler than before. I also love that I can just toss this liner in the wash every couple of days versus having to take apart the carseat to wash the liner it comes with.Suggest to really measure as the "one size fits all" is true due to its small size. I'd say that if it was a fraction smaller, the material wouldn't even cover an infant car seat well. Was also expecting it to be a little thicker as advertised, but came out the same as others available out there - not the best. However, was happy with the quality of the construction, packaging and delivery. Still used the product, but only for a short time. It's a little smaller than I think it should be! I'm not sure it actually helps keep my son cool, but I like that it gives him extra padding!!! I was having issues with my baby overheating in the car and the only solution that worked for me was getting a new vehicle! But I love to use this in the car seat now!!!Light and airy material and is sufficient in getting the job done. The baby still gets a bit sweaty and hot, but this helps in circulating the air so he doesn't get AS sweaty as he used to by the end of the car ride. Definitely worth a try.
