For some reason despite what position I move the driver seat to in my CRV the seatbelt rubs against my neck. With these seat belt pads I can get the seat belt to stay at a lower angle but if it moves up it doesn't irrate my skin.If you can, opt for the longer ones. The shorter ones move around too much and I have to periodically chase them as they ride up or fall down with movement.Does the jobThese are great! Our 5-year-old grandson just graduated to a booster seat and the seatbelt rubbed across his neck. These pads solved the problem. The seatbelt still touches his neck, but now it is soft, and he is more comfortable. The four-star rating is because once installed, they slide around on the seatbelt a lot and need frequent adjustments. A small price to pay for the comfort they provide. I recommend these and would not hesitate to buy them again if the need arose.I put these on my chairs to help me get up. I am a senior and my hands get really sore when I push down on hard metal or wood chair arms and this is a big help.These are really soft and they Velcro on one side so they can be removed easily to wash or switch seatbelts. Saves the kids from the seatbelts digging into the neck area! They worked perfectly.These car seat belt shoulder straps have been a life saver. They are comfortable and easy to apply to the belt. For me, they are slightly too short to protect shoulder and chest but I could fix that by using two (great value in the 4 pk) of them. Unfortunately, regardless of using one or two, I find that they don’t retract easily and I find myself needing to slide them down the belt for it to go back in place to get out of the car.
