this product helps for when you have the baby in the stroller and the baby is asleep. i like that it has the holes on the side for air. but i wouldnt say its great for a car seat cover since its think and clear. i bought the foil kind for the car seat sun protectorDO LIKE THE SOLAR NET. KEEPS BUGS AWAY. FIND IT ONLY FITS THE CARRIER COMPLETELY. LIMITED STROLLER COVERAGE. NOT VERY TRANSPARENT SO HARD TO SEE BABY. IF THE PRIMARY USE IS FOR SUN BLOCK, IT WORKS WELL.It's easy to see how this cover protects against the sun since this netting is hardly see through. There are just two small side panels that are actually mesh like expected. The main fabric has holes in it but is a solid fabric NOT like the picture on Amazon or on the box that it comes in. I have since purchased the GRACO brand netting, and it is mesh as pictured.A fellow grandmother had this sun net for her grandson on a trip to Hawaii. I was impressed with it. Found it on Amazon and ordered it for myself and my daughter. It is great for a car seat or stroller. It is much better than others out there.This item is wonderful for those moms and dads who want to get out of the house while it is sunny or buggy out. Walking helped me keep my sanity after my baby was born and without this product I would have likely cut those walks short due to the sun exposure and bugs...crisis averted!I used this over our maxi cosi mico infant car seat. It fit perfectly. It protected our newborn from the sun and bugs in the park. Excellent product, but we didn't use it for very long.I ordered this product thinking it would look like the picture, when in fact, it does not. There is a big solid white panel down the middle that blocks your view into the carseat. When I approached the seller for refund, he would not refund my money as it was a gift off of my registry and now I am stuck with a product I can't use. The seller is not willing to try to change the picture nor admit that they were selling a different product than they were advertising...I would find something else...I agree with the other reviewer in that the product doesn't look like the picture. It is solid white fabric down the middle and the fabric doesn't look that breathable. You CANNOT SEE YOUR CHILD through the fabric. The mesh is only on the sides. The product featured in the picture displayed is not what you are actually purchasing! This is really annoying. I'm going to try to return mine.
